The association of Finnish nature photographers organises its annual competition, regularly attracting some top-quality work. The gallery on selected photos is located in here; the winner this year was “Lumisade” (Falling snow) by Esa Mälkönen (here).

Impressive. Why a i’m not photographer ?
I joined the association of Finnish nature photographers recently, but I must admit that what these professionals do goes beyond both my abilities and my patience. Dedicating several days to get the colours and lightning absolutely right in one shot — that is not something that I can do right now, don’t know if ever…
